In Nfl Full Of 2017 List City Draft Chiefs’ Picks Georgia State receiver Penny Hart

Georgia State receiver Penny Hart is a four year senior for the Panthers of the Sun Belt conference. His speed and quickness are what will find him a home in the NFL. A dynamic playmaker he has potential to be a slot receiver with downfield play a bility . Furthermore, you can never have enough playmakers and should the Eagles take a chance on Hart he’d be a nice fit for Doug Pederson’s offense.

Lighting up the Sun Belt

In four seasons Hart finished with 203 catches for 2,960 yards and 19 touchdowns.

As a freshman, he had an outstanding season as he caught 72 passes for 1,109 yards. Those numbers were good enough to make him the Sun Belt Freshman of the year and All-Sun Belt first team. Consequently, in 2016 his season was cut short after two games due to a foot injury. However, he would then bounce back in 2017 with 74 catches and 1,121 yards and return to first-team All-Sun Belt. His senior season was a little bit of a disappointment but the playmaking ability is there.

Another undersized playmaker?

Due to his body of work, Hart earned a trip to the Senior Bowl. Hart took full advantage and displayed a route running clinic and good hands. Here he is against Delaware safety Nasir Adderley.

Adderley is one of the best DBs in Mobile and WR Penny Hart got him pretty good with that controlled burst.

This is just a sample of what he can do. While in the actual game he only had one catch it was still a great week. Projected to be a potential day two or three pick teams could be getting a gem in the Georgia n ative .

The more playmakers the better

If I’m the Eagles id certainly give Hart a look. He may be undersized however having him in rotation with Alshon Jeffery, Nelson Agholor, Mack Hollins and others will keep everyone fresh and options all over. Furthermore, when you watch him you can see a bit of Taylor Gabriel in his game.
